Erster Entwurf

Ein weiterer Meilenstein auf dem Weg zur Realisierung von pflegegerechtem Wohnraum im Safiental! Corina Haertsch und Pascal Hofmann haben diese Woche den ersten Entwurf für die neue Gebäudehülle für die Alte Sennerei mit uns geteilt. Das alte Gewerbegebäude ist kaum mehr zu erkennen!

Doch der Vorstand des Vereins Tenna Hospiz ist erfreut über den schlichten, und doch grosszügigen Entwurf für den Um- und Neubau der Alten Sennerei. Nach erfolgreicher Finanzierung wird dies der Ort sein für eine Wohngemeinschaft mit hoher Kompetenz in Palliative Care und Sterbebegleitung, aber auch ein Ort für Urlaub und Entlastung für Pflegebedürftige und ihre pflegenden Angehörigen.

We reached another milestone in creating a special care place in the Safien Valley, Switzerland. Corina Haertsch and Pascal Hofmann have shared their first draft for the new walls of the Old Cheese Factory. The former industrial building is barely recognizable!

The board of the Tenna Hospice Association is pleased about the simple, but generous design for the conversion of the Old Cheese factory. After a successful fundraising campaign, this will be the home for an intentional community with a strong competency in palliative and spiritual care for the dying, as well as a place for holidays, respite care and burnout prevention for family caregivers.
